What personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Sentinel Core Vision, a sole proprietorship ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data in connection with the SentinelLabeler desktop application, its local dashboard, our licensing service, and our websites (together, the "Service"). It covers what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.
SentinelLabeler is a dataset-labeling desktop application for Windows, paired with a local dashboard you open in your browser. The labeling and AI-assist work happens on your own hardware. Because of that, the amount of personal data we collect is deliberately small. This Policy applies to that data; it does not describe the footage, datasets, or models you choose to process locally on your own machine, which we never receive.
We are Sentinel Core Vision, a sole proprietorship, and we are responsible for the personal data described in this Policy. You can reach us at support@sentinelcorevision.com. Please use the email address associated with your license or account where possible, so we can locate your records.
We collect only what we need to operate the Service. In practice, that is:
We use the information above to:
We do not use your personal data to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
SentinelLabeler is a local application. The footage, frames, datasets, and models it works with are processed on your own computer, using your own hardware. That content does not leave your PC through the app. We do not receive it, store it, or transmit it, and it is not part of the data described elsewhere in this Policy. Your projects, labels, and other local settings are stored on your machine. The only routine network activity the app performs is a lightweight check to our licensing service to confirm your license is valid, and — on first launch — downloading the AI runtime it needs to run locally.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the Service, and only to the extent each of them needs it to do their job. Our main providers are:
We may also disclose personal data to advisers, authorities, or other parties where we are legally required to, or where it is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the Service. If our business is transferred, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
Our marketing website is static and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Where our websites or the app use cookies or local storage, it is limited to what is needed to make them work — for example, keeping you signed in on your own device.
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Policy. In general, that means:
When we no longer need personal data, we delete it or anonymize it. Some providers, such as our payment processor, keep records under their own retention rules.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email support@sentinelcorevision.com from the address associated with your account, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. For example, under the EU/UK GDPR you may generally have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Under the California CCPA/CPRA you may generally have rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and a right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information. Which rights apply to you depends on your location and the applicable law; we will honor the rights that apply to you.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit for data that travels over the network and restricted access to the systems that hold it. We also rely on established providers (such as Stripe, Supabase, and Cloudflare) that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 (or under 13 where a lower age applies under local law). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
We and our providers may process personal data in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards recognized under applicable law — for example, adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses — and on providers that offer appropriate protections.
We may update this Policy from time to time as the Service, our providers, or the law change. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Policy.
If you have questions about this Policy or your personal data, or want to make a privacy request, email support@sentinelcorevision.com.
This Policy is provided for transparency and is not a statement of legal sufficiency; it may be revised as our practices and applicable law evolve.
